We are an SSI Instructor Training Center located in the heart of Tulum. We provide the complete course catalog from SSI (Scuba Schools International), one of the world’s largest training organizations. In addition, we offer an extensive program of excursion diving - from classic, Caribbean reef diving to unique, cavern diving experiences inside ancient, world-renowned wonders of Mexican cenotes.
Our fully equipped dive facility includes top-notch rental equipment, spacious classrooms, a dedicated rinsing and storage area for your own gear, air and nitrox fills and a shop filled with the latest in high quality-diving equipment.
Our in-house SSI Instructor Trainer and a dedicated team of instructors are here to take care of you and all your training and fun diving needs.
Staff
Jakob Svärd
Jakob is our in-house Instructor Trainer and owning partners of ProRec. With 10 years in the diving industry and a background in educating cold water divers,
brings safety into all of the levels of education.
Kim Davidsson
Originally from Sweden Kim is a passionate diver and instructor with 20 years of experience diving all corners of the world. He is one of the owning partners of ProRec, mainly responsible for administration, maintenance, and logistics.
Patrick Widmann
Originally from Austria Patrick has been a full time dive professional since 2002. He is an Instructor Trainer Evaluator for Technical and Cave Diving. Designer/Developer of diving equipment and one of the owning partners of ProRec.
Arturo Woodrow
Our in house SSI Instructor who always will make sure you have the best possible diving experience!
Together with his dog Faso he always greets you with a big smile in the dive shop. Arturo teaches in English and Spanish.
