Are you one of those divers who has become totally addicted to scuba diving?

Do you want to share your passion and knowledge with new divers? Becoming an SSI Divemaster will provide you with those opportunities and more!

At ProRec we combine the SSI Dive Guide course and the Science of Diving

into one program. Resulting in the SSI Divemaster Certification.

SSI Divemaster is your first step on the SSI Professional dive career path,

and it is the first level of professional training that you can

undertake within the SSI System.

As a Divemaster, you not only get to dive… A LOT… you also get the chance to meet new people and share their joy of diving.  In addition, you will

be able to conduct elements of the Try Scuba Diving program,

assist SSI Instructors on training courses, take certified divers on

guided dives and much, much more.

An SSI Divemaster is a respected dive professional who is aligned with

one of the largest and most highly regarded dive organization in the world.

Being a great Divemaster requires great leadership and problem-solving skills. During your Divemaster course, your instructor will adopt the

role of a mentor rather than a teacher, guiding you through your professional

development as you become proficient in organizing and leading dive activities.

During knowledge development sessions, water skill exercises and

workshops you will learn the trade in its entirety and become a

confident and skillful dive professional.

At ProRec we are committed to providing you with a full complement of the skills and knowledge required to make you the most accomplished Divemaster that you can be within such a competitive dive industry.

During your Divemaster training with us here at ProRec you will be provided with the opportunity to assist in the practical training of real students alongside our instructors as they conduct SSI courses. We view this as an essential part of your own training to ensure that you are as confident and prepared as you can be when you step out into the real world.

We take no shortcuts in training the dive professionals of tomorrow because we don’t want you to take any shortcuts in training the students of tomorrow!

At ProRec we can tailor your Divemaster training

to your current certification level.
